Francisco Castillo, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, believes everyone has the power to rewrite their story. He’s living proof. After a 20-year military career, Francisco found his calling as a therapist, helping people break free from inherited patterns that no longer serve them.

His unconventional journey from high school dropout to Navy serviceman to Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist gives him a unique perspective on transformation. With an MS in Counseling Psychology from Chaminade University of Honolulu, Francisco combines clinical expertise with real-world wisdom earned through experience.

Based in Hawaii, Francisco specializes in helping individuals and families untangle generational trauma and create healthier legacies. His approach is refreshingly practical. He believes therapy should be accessible, not intimidating, and that healing happens in real life, not just in session.

Host of the podcast “Cruisin’ for Clarity with a Therapist,” Francisco breaks down complex emotional concepts with humor and heart. When he’s not working, you’ll find him playing Roblox with his daughter or bumping 90s hip-hop, because therapists are people too.
