33 Days | Thomas Simmons Mysteries

Thomas Simmons wakes alone, naked, and amnesic in a remote hillside cave with only a locked crate and a cryptic note to guide him. Can he decipher the note’s meaning and unlock the secret to his existence?
Susan Simmons cannot accept the finality of Thomas’s unresolved disappearance. Can she accept the appearance of a stranger claiming to be her long-lost husband?
When Thomas Simmons wakes alone in a cave, he is cold, naked, and clueless as to his identity, with only a cryptic note offering any clue as to the what, where, and why of his predicament. Facing starvation and hypothermia, Thomas must struggle against his reluctant memory to decipher the strange note and gain access to a mysterious, padlocked crate, the only item in the cave offering the promise of food, clothing, and, most importantly, answers. Burdened by a memory populating in random fits, Thomas soon discovers he is freshly born a mature man afflicted with a fantastic condition, one providing him a mere thirty-three days to live. Thirty-three days to uncover the riddle of his malady and reconnect with his lost wife before a death-rebirth-death cycle starts again–for he is not the first Thomas Simmons to find himself in this cave, in this condition, and without memory. Previous Thomases have left notes on what they learned prior to their expiry and subsequent reawakening, a confusing set of clues and instructions on his past, his future, and where to find his wife.
As Thomas slowly unearths revelations of his earlier participation in clandestine activities, he runs head first into a dark-eyed stranger intent on recovering a secret stash of documents hidden by the original Thomas, forcing him to question the very nature of his identity and the underpinning of his condition. With Susan’s life threatened by the dark-eyed man’s plot, Thomas scurries from the foothills of Nashville to the bucolic hamlet of Coeur D’Alene, Idaho to the urban core of Atlanta in a mad rush to protect Susan and uncover the murky secret of his family and his past. Will his time run out too soon?
